'Intelligent Video Surveillance' is on top of frame grabbers and systems, SELDES S.A. also develops associable application software . The result of mixing both SELDES hardware platform and software gave birth to a range of Event driven & detection products supporting different types of camera.
Most of the time, standard Event driven & detection solutions available on the market mainly process images at software level, leading the CPU to saturation and causing some problems in terms of image resolution and number of images per second supported by the system.
In order to overcome those limitations, SELDES implements the integration of real time image processing at the hardware level. This particular approach releases the CPU to help the system undertaking the enormous amount of operations per second it must achieve, let alone if the images to be processed are high resolution images coming from multiple cameras.
Those products’ main characteristics are :
- Based on powerful FPGA/ RISP/ GPU technologies.
- Using minimal CPU resources
- Running internally developed event driven and detection application spread in 3 modules:
- LynxServer for DVR initial setting
- LynxPassport for secure user profile creation
- LynxPlayer for live or recorded image remote display to users
